NJ lottery disrupted by heavy storm

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - March 8, 2008 Saturday's midday drawing was delayed when the storm affected lines at the lottery's main office in Trenton.

Lottery machines around the state were shut down by the disruption, which occurred at about 12:30 p.m.

Lottery spokesman Dominick DeMarco said the system is expected to be restored in time to do the midday drawing.

He said the evening drawing is expected to be held at a little before 8 p.m. as usual.
