An early morning traffic accident in South Philadelphia has sent a police officer and two civilians to the hospital.
The car and police vehicle slammed into each other at about 1:30 Wednesday morning at 20th and Sigel Streets.
The injured officer and two civilians were taken to Jefferson Hospital. All three injuries are considered minor.
Police are trying to determine what caused the accident.
