Felton man extradited to face Harrington rape charges

HARRINGTON, Del. (AP) - March 27, 2008 Harrington police say 25-year-old Lamont Holbrook was extradited by the U.S. Navy following an investigation by the U.S. Navy Criminal Investigative Service.

Police Chief Mark Anderson says Holbrook is accused of repeatedly raping a young relative between the summer of 2005 and March 2007.

Holbrook was returned to Delaware on Tuesday. He is charged with 20 counts of first-degree rape, three counts of second-degree rape and 23 counts of dangerous crime against a minor under age 14. Bond is set at $670,000.
