Authorities say Bayard Thompson was found Friday after he ran out of gas. Local officials in the Pennsylvania town contacted his relatives and family members picked him up.
Thompson had left Christiana Hospital about 8:30 p.m. Thursday after visiting an ill family member. His son reported later that Thompson never returned to his home in the 1300 block of Valley Stream Village, Newark.
