Yesterday, current and former employees of Velcro USA lined the streets of Manchester, New Hampshire, for a rip-roaring celebration.
For more than mile, people ripped apart strips of the fastener that has gone the moon and helps to keep babies' bottoms covered.
Velcro was developed by a Swiss inventor, after studying the burs that stuck to his dog's fur and his wool hunting pants.
