City Fire Marshal's investigators are looking into the cause of an apartment fire that left three people homeless last night. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on the unit block of Corbin Court in Wilmington.

All three people inside got out safely before firefighters arrived. It took about 20 minutes to control the flames, which heavily damaged the second-floor. The first-floor apartment was slightly damaged by water.

The Red Cross was called to help the residents find alternate shelter. Inspectors were called to determine whether the building is still structurally sound.
