Hazardous materials workers say they quickly contained some dangerous chemical vapors that leaked after a mishap in Camden early Tuesday morning.

A pair of rail cars transporting nitric acid collided near the Camden Rail Yards near River Road and East State Street around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Traffic was delayed for a time around the accident scene.

Nitric acid is highly corrosive and can cause severe burns.
