Officers shoot home invasion suspect

A group of armed men invade a Philadelphia home. Police arrived, the group scattered, and one suspect found himself in the sights of an officer's gun.

The home invasion happened at 24th Street and Washington Avenue in South Philadelphia at 1 a.m.

Arriving officers chased several suspects into an alley. One officer fired his gun, and hit a suspect in the leg.That person is being treated at Temple Hospital.

Three other suspects are now under arrest.

A fourth suspect - a woman - took off in a car. The hunt for her continues.

Police recovered a fully loaded rifle at the scene along with two magazines of bullets.
