Chaperone policy begins at local Mall

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - July 11, 2008 The policy aimed at curbing rowdiness at the mall begins Friday.

Mall general manager Steve Chambliss says teens who are in the mall at 5 p.m. with no chaperone will be asked to leave.

Public safety officers will be checking IDs of people entering the mall. If teens are not escorted by an adult over 21, they won't be able to come in.
