Wounded officer back at work, makes arrest

PHILADELPHIA - July 16, 2008 Decoatsworth, a rookie, was shot in the face with a shotgun last September during a routine traffic stop.

He has recovered and is now a member of the highway patrol.

Last night was his first night on patrol and it was eventful. Decoatsworth and his partner, Officer Ivan Rosado, arrested a murder suspect.

Decoatsworth says he's glad to be back on the job. He and his partner spotted the suspect because they recognized a tattoo from a wanted poster.
