SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - July 25, 2008
The cars collided at the intersection of Island and Elmwood Avenues shortly before midnight.
Police say the driver of the Dodge was travelling northbound on Island, when he swerved into the southbound lanes setting off a chain reaction crash.
The 32-year-old driver of the Dodge was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead.
