Family of 8 displaced by store fire

Fire forced a family out of their North Philadelphia home early this morning. The fire broke out inside a store on the first floor of the building in the 2400 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

A family of eight was living in an apartment above the store. Everyone was able to get out of the building safely.

The Red Cross was notified to provide shelter for the night.
