Delaware State Police say a Wilmington man who was struck by a hit-and-run driver near Prices Corner has died of his injuries. Fifty-year-old William Walker was struck near Route 141 and Faulkland Road about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police, Walker had been drinking before he crossed the southbound lanes of Route 141 and was waiting to cross the northbound lanes when he was hit. The crash knocked him into the southbound lanes, where he was hit by a second vehicle. That driver, 23-year-old Rachel Crowe of New Castle, called police.

Walker was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition and died Thursday.

Police are still looking for the first driver.
