It happened at 316 W. 9th Street at the home of a family member of the 14 year old who was shot.
That teen is in stable condition at Chester Crozer Hospital.
It is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Charges are possibly pending against both the victim and a conspirator.
The ownership of the gun has not been determined.
According to investigators, the boy told police he was shot outside of the house, however evidence at the scene seems to indicate the shooting happened inside.
