Police officers spotted the fire from a Wawa across the street and called 911.
The fire destroyed an ambulance.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Investigators tell Action News they believe the fire may have been started accidentally.
Fire sub-station destroyed by flames
SPRING CITY, Pa. - December 30, 2008
Flames ripped through the West End Fire Sub-station on Schuylkill Road in Spring City shortly after midnight.
