A suburban Pittsburgh police officer is being accused of assaulting an employee at a McDonald's restaurant. Twenty-six-year-old Derek Dayoub is charged with simple assault, official oppression and harassment for the incident that occurred on Oct. 11.

Dayoub is accused of confronting 19-year-old Brandon Lancaster while he was at work in a McDonald's in Burgettstown. Police say Dayoub accused Lancaster of talking about him. Police say when Lancaster denied the accusation, Dayoub squeezed a pressure point near the teenager's collarbone, causing him to collapse.

Police say Dayoub's partner Smith Township police officer Michael North told them his partner was "out of control" and frequently abusive.
