Mrs. Fixit: Protect From Mess

January 25, 2009

If you have a standard "to do" list that you tackle season, or a shopping list that you use each week. Print it out on a piece of paper and slip it into a clear page protector.

Then, use a dry erase marker to check off your items. When you're finihsed you can simply wipe the list clean so it's ready for the next time!

If you're cookbooks are always getting splattered when you're working in the kitchen, stretch a piece of plastic wrap over the pages. It will give you a see through layer of protection that will keep those cookbooks clean.

If you're using a recipe card, slip it inside a clear jewel case from a cd. The case will protect the recipe card and you can even stand it up so it's easy to read.

You can also use those jewel cases for an inexpesnive way to protect and display pictures. Just slip the pictures in and prop the cases open!

Easy protective ideas to help you out around your home! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple.
