Gunman sends 4 to hospital in N. Philly

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - March 15, 2009 The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of West York Street.

2 men and 2 women, all said to be in their 20's, were shot multiple times in the incident.

The victims were taken to Temple University Hospital. The female victims were admitted in critical condition. One of the women has been upgraded to stable condition. The other underwent surgery, but remains in critical.

The two male victims are listed in stable condition at this time.

The shooter is described as a Hispanic male with blonde hair. He was driving a red Ford F150 diesel pick up truck. A woman was said to be in the truck with the gunman at the time of the shooting.

The shooter fled the scene in the truck going west on York Street.

No word on what sparked the shooting.
