Train fire causes delays in Chestnut Hill

The undercarriage of a SEPTA R-8 line train caught fire near the Chestnut Hill station this morning. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

No passengers on board were hurt, but there were minor delays on the R-8 Chestnut Hill West line.

SEPTA reports that the train is now on or close to schedule.
