Maggie Hampshire

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1988 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Health Leadership with a focus in Global Health in Penn's School of Nursing Science. Her entire career has been dedicated to oncology nursing. Her clinical experience began at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she spent six years working as a clinical nurse on the Gynecologic Oncology floor.

The next two years were spent at the Jefferson Cancer Network, where she was the co-coordinator of the Jefferson Multidisciplinary Cancer Center and the 1-800-JEFFNOW information line. She later served as a staff nurse in the radiation oncology unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania specializing in the multi-disciplinary management of gastrointestinal oncology patients.

Her current position is Managing Editor of OncoLink, where she manages the development of new teaching content for cancer patients and their families, as well as the cancer survivorship program and tools available on OncoLink.
