Police say they tried to initiate a stop when the vehicle fled. Witnesses say the driver crashed the vehicle and when officers arrived the suspect fled on foot. However she left her identification inside the vehicle.
The suspect, a 14-year-old Bristol Township female, fled to a relative's home in Morrisville where she was taken into custody.
The car was stolen out of Philadelphia. She is going to be charged with hit and run, fleeing an eluding, REAP, receiving stolen property, no drivers license. She is in the juvenile detention center.
An elderly couple was asleep inside the home at the time of the accident. Neither they nor the female passenger were injured.
