Police say the mother lost control of the car and flipped over on Route 130, just south of Federal Street in Camden, shortly after midnight.
Rescuers pulled the woman and the child from the two-door Acura. The child was trapped in a car seat.
Both mother and child were taken to Cooper University Hospital where their conditions are unknown.
There's no word on what led to the accident.
