NJ Transit bus service to resume in south Jersey

NEWARK, N.J. - February 11, 2010

Spokesman Dan Stessel says service will resume at 7 a.m. It had been suspended because the roads were too dangerous.

NJ Transit bus service resumed in northern New Jersey at 6 a.m., but riders should expect delays.

Stessel says NJ Transit rail riders could see some trains combined on the Northeast Corridor because blowing snow is affecting switches and limiting the number of tracks.

Trains will honor bus passes.

PATCO is operating on a snow schedule with six car trains running every 15 minutes. There is no express service.

Commuters should allow extra time to find parking.
