It happened just before 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Newtown Road and Robbins Street just north of the Lawndale Station.
There, a woman was struck by a SEPTA train.
Medics transported the woman, in her 20's, to Temple Hospital. Investigators remain on scene at this time.
All services on the Fox Chase line have been suspended in both directions for the entire line.
So far, no other trains have been affected.
