It happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of 2nd and Godfrey Streets.
Police say they tried to pull over the driver, 18-year-old Joshua McGlaughlin, for driving without headlights.
During the pursuit that followed, officers say McGlaughlin crashed into four parked cars then fled the scene on foot before being captured about a block away.
The initial word from the scene said that a passenger was ejected in this crash, but police now say that McGlaughlin was driving alone.
