"Especially in our first season, the more matches we play against quality competition, the quicker we'll improve," said Union Team Manager Peter Nowak. This match is another benefit of our valuable partnership with Harrisburg."

In March, Philadelphia Union tabbed the Islanders as their official USL-2 affiliate club and have the option to loan Union players to Harrisburg for increased playing time. Shea Salinas, Toni Stahl and Nick Zimmerman have all suited up for the Islanders.

"We're very excited to bring a Major League Soccer club to the city of Harrisburg to play on the field in front of our fans," said City Islanders General Manager Kierstin Rowe.
