Three Philadelphia police officers will be in federal court following their arrests on corruption charges.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey has said the officers accused -- Robert Snyder, James Venziale and Mark Williams -- would be fired.

The officers, along with Snyder's wife and two others, are accused in a 14 count indictment. They are charged with stealing 300 grams of heroin from a drug dealer, while in uniform and in a marked police car.

The indictment says the officers then tried to sell the drugs to an undercover federal agent.

The officers face a detention hearing.
