The first robbery happened at the Citizens Bank branch on the 6300 block of Stenton Avenue around noon Friday.
The suspect handed a threatening note to a teller and ran away with an undetermined amount of cash.
Less than an hour later, someone robbed the Beneficial Bank on the 5300 block of Chew Avenue.
In both instances, the robber was wearing large prescription sunglasses
