Milford man charged in string of burglaries

MILFORD, Del. (AP) - August 31, 2010 Police say Johnathon Davis has been linked to burglaries at two homes and break-ins at the Walls Service, Walls Farm and Garden Center, Milford Middle School and Taylor Electrical. Department spokesman Detective Dwight Young says a search of Davis' home turned up property stolen in these burglaries and a .22 caliber rifle.

Davis was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief, attempted burglary, theft and a weapons charge. He is being held in the Sussex Correctional Institution after failing to post $36,000 bail.
