The incident happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Classic Pistol Indoor Range on Industrial Boulevard in Southampton.
Officials say there was a gun malfunction that caused the gun to go off accidentally.
The bullet struck the victim in the face, however he was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate.
