Police say the 23-year-old man was shot about 11:05 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of N. Market St.
The man was taken to Christiana Hospital.
Police say they do not have any information on a suspect. They are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Malcolm Stoddard at (302) 576-3641.
