SUV flips in four-vehicle crash in Wilmington

One person was injured after a four-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened on northbound Route 202 at Murphy Road around 10:55 a.m.

Police say a tractor trailer, driven by Lexter Herritt, 52, of Nova Scotia, Canada, hit the back of an Infiniti SUV driven by Joseph Dinozzi, 58, of Middletown, Del.

The SUV was stopped for a red light at the intersection, police said.

The SUV then rolled over, hitting the back of a Hyundai which, in turn, struck a Chevy Malibu.

Dinozzi was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
