John P. Robinson, 64, of Hunter Road in New Castle, was arrested at his home on Thursday.
Police Robinson identified himself as a retired school teacher for the Vineland (New Jersey) School District, who formerly lived in Millville, NJ, and Philadelphia.
Authorities from the Delaware Attorney General's Office say officers raided Robinson's home after an investigation into the distribution of child porn.
Seven computers and other digital media were seized.
Robinson is being held on $100,000 secured bond.
