Andy Reid among the Eagles brass checking out Temple's version of the NFL combine on Friday.
Reid and the Eagles are keeping a close eye on Owls' defensive end, Muhammad Wilkerson. The junior is projected to be drafted in the first round.
"It shows that he may be interested in me, and it shows what type of guy he is, and that he has faith in Temple players" said Muhammed Wilkerson.
"We've spent a lot of time watching him. You know, he plays in our stadium. So it's kind of fun those guys develop and be in the draft, and he can play in any scheme," Howie Roseman.
Wilkerson is trying to be the first Temple Owl to go in the first round since Paul Palmer. The runningback went to the Kansas City Chiefs 19th overall in 1987.
"If I'm a first rounder, you know, I want to say congratulations to the staff here at Temple that helped me out. And I am just going to move on from there and try to have a successful, professional career," said Wilkerson.
Wilkerson is not the only Temple Owl planning to hear his named called in April.
Safety Jaqwan Jarrett could go as high as the second round and linebacker Peanut Joseph is believed to be picked in later rounds.
"Just to have my named called sometime next month would be like a dream come true, just to see my family excited, and I'm going to be excited," said Jaqwan Jarrett.
All 16 players on hand on Friday are hoping to make the leap to the next level.
