The accident happened at Bustleton and Cheltenham avenues shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Police say the driver of the vehicle lost control, wrapping the vehicle around a pole.
The woman, described to be in her mid 20's, was extricated and rushed to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment.
The man, believed to be 40-years-old, was rushed to Aria Hospital Torresdale Division for treatment.
There is no word yet which person was driving or why the driver lost control.
