Police say a man was stabbed by his own son outside a funeral home in North Philadelphia.

Officers were called to the front of the Baker Funeral Home in the 2000 block of North Broad Street around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say it all began with a fight inside the funeral home that led out into the street.

That's where, police say, 35-year-old Kasar Gaynor stabbed his 56-year-old father in the back.

Gaynor was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and related charges.

His father was treated and released from the hospital.
