The discovery was made around 9:42 a.m. in the area of the Girard Point Bridge near the Sunoco refinery.
Authorities have now confirmed that the body is that of Yong Jin Kim, who has been missing since April 12th.
At this point there is no cause of death.
Police say it doesn't seem that there was any foul play, but an autopsy has been scheduled.
