Fire injures two in New Jersey

Barrington, NJ - May 14, 2011

The homeowner escaped the inferno in Barrington, but suffered smoke inhalation.

A firefighter was treated for a minor injury, related to the blaze on the 400 block of Albany Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the fire shortly after four o'clock Saturday morning. They encountered flames shooting from a deck and the basement.

The fire spread to part of the upper levels of the home before it was contained.

Investigators have not said what sparked the fire.
