North Versailles police chief Michael DeLuca tells WPXI-TV that police haven't arrested anyone in the incident at that municipality's Giant Eagle store. Police say the thieves went on to spend $3,000 at Target and Best Buy stores in nearby Monroeville using the 71-year-old woman's stolen credit cards.
Police say the thieves asked the woman to help them pick out and read greeting cards. The chief says the woman was so focused on helping the men, that she didn't notice one of them taking the wallet out of her purse, which she had in her shopping cart.
