1 dead in Camden ATV, car crash

A crash in Camden has killed one person and left another in serious condition.

Investigators say an ATV and a car collided around 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Street and Memorial Drive.

Police say an ATV traveling on Pine Street appears to have disregarded a stop sign and struck a 2005 Mazda.

The ATV was occupied by a 22-year-old Pennsauken male driver and a 20-year-old Camden female passenger.

They were both rushed to Cooper University Hospital.

The male driver died of injuries and the female passenger remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Mazda, a 53-year-old female from Audubon, NJ, sufferred minor injuries.

The case is under investigation by Camden County Fatal Crash Investigation Team.
