Man shot in front of his Germantown home

Police are investigating the shooting of a man while standing in front of his home in the Germantown section of Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

Officials say, a 36-year-old man was shot around 1:45 a.m. on the 900 East Woodlawn Avenue.

The victim was shot in his side and rushed to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.

Police are looking at a car that was parked nearby to determine if there is any connection.

There is no word or any suspects or a motive for the shooting.
