Anthony Parker-Pitts, of the 3100 block of North Percy Street, is charged with having a weapon at school.
Authorities found the knife at 7:56 a.m., as Parker-Pitts was going into the Fairhill Community High School at 2820 North 4th Street.
The knife was confiscated and Parker-Pitts taken into custody.
No one was injured.
