TURNERSVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- More than 350 people in Gloucester County were blessed with a free meal today, thanks to the Kathy MeGee Holiday Meals Program.

Residents of all faiths came together to show the spirit of giving this Easter season!

The idea came 12 years ago when Kathy MeGee felt everyone deserved a warm meal on sacred holidays throughout the year. When she passed away in 2013, Paul Dilks took over and made it more than MeGee could have ever thought.

The program has a budget of $0 and instead relies on donations from businesses within the community. Ace Hardware, Bottino's ShopRite, Sam's Club, Aversa's Bakery, Liscio's Bakery, Paris Caterers, Auletto Caterers, Knights of Columbus, Washington Township Rotary, Washington Township Senior Center, and Washington Township Ambulance and Rescue all contributed.

The organization demonstrates the spirit of Easter by bringing people of all faiths together for the shared goal of charity. Members of the Church of the Holy Family, local synagogues, Methodist churches and more composed the diverse assembly line of workers.
