#WomenOn20s: Campaign pushes lawmakers to feature woman on $20 bill

There's a new push to have a woman on the face of the $20 bill, and this one is getting some serious traction.

According to ABC News, nonprofit campaign "Women on 20s" plans to ask the government to replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with one of 15 significant women in U.S. history. The campaign is currently in the final voting process, down to just four, that will decide which woman will be included on the bill they will deliver before congress.

Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, and Rosa Parks were voted as finalist candidates after 256,000 voters cast their ballots across the past five weeks. Cherokee Nation Chief Wilma Mankiller was added as the fourth finalist due to popular demand to include a Native American candidate. "Women on 20s" hopes to have the bill approved by 2020, the centennial of the passage of the 19th Amendment that granted women the right to vote, though is trying to get the ball rolling now because it can take years for any bill to pass.

The campaign asks voters to spread the word of the campaign by posting a selfie with a $20, and tagging friends with the hashtag #WomenOn20s.
