Former Philadelphia police officer pleads guilty to aggravated assault, DUI charges

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The former Philadelphia police officer charged with driving drunk and crashing into a Northeast Philadelphia home pleaded guilty Wednesday.

That crash destroyed the home and left the homeowners pinned under the car on February 6, 2021.

Gregory Campbell pleaded guilty to aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence.

He is expected to be sentenced in June and could face years behind bars.
