Man shot in face in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot in the face in West Philadelphia late Wednesday night.

Police say the 28-year-old victim was shot just before midnight on Lancaster Avenue near Brown Street.

The victim was taken by a private vehicle to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

He was listed in stable condition.

Police have not released details about a suspect.
