13-year-old girl shot, injured inside Philadelphia residence

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 13-year-old girl was shot in the Fern Rock neighborhood of Philadelphia on Saturday night.

It happened on the 5900 block of North 11th Street inside a residence shortly before 9 p.m.

The victim was shot one time, according to police. She was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center in a private vehicle, where she was placed in stable condition.

No weapons were recovered at the scene and no arrests have been made.
