Police in La Crosse are apologizing after using the wrong surveillance video in a Crime Stoppers TV public service announcement.
The video was supposed to show a suspect using a stolen credit card at a convenience store.
But police say the video instead shows a similar looking innocent woman, who was using her credit card at nearly the same time.
A police department spokesman says it's a "one-in-a-million type of thing."
The spokesman says they feel "horrible about the mistake" and have sent the innocent woman a personal note of apology.
Police aren't releasing her name.
