That's what got the "Reptile Man" man in trouble with the law.
Aaron Flett has pleaded guilty to keeping a wild animal without a license.
Authorities say he about 40 snakes - most of them poisonous - at his Washington state home.
He was called the "Reptile Man" by the kids at area schools where he would show off his slithering collection.
A judge sentenced Flett to five days on a work crew and fined him about 680 bucks.
Flett's conviction will be erased from his record if keeps out of trouble for two years.
A local paper reports the snakes were seized by animal control officers during a raid about a year ago.
