Officers were called to the Legends Barber Shop in the 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk around 12:30 p.m. Saturday to investigate the robbery.
Police Capt. Marlyn Dietz says the robber fled before officers arrived, but as they searched the area, officers spotted Rashie T. Harris, who fit victims' description of the robber. Police say Harris ran off, but was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.
Police say Harris had a loaded .38-caliber revolver and the property taken in the robbery. Dietz says victims in the shop later identified Harris as the robber.
Harris was booked on several charges of first-degree robbery and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
